At Scented Wonderland, all products are handcrafted with care and attention. Safe use of our products is paramount. Please read the safety and usage instructions below carefully before using our products.

General
Our products are intended for decorative and household use. Always use our candles, wax melts, and wax burners according to the included instructions and the information on the product pages.

Scented Wonderland cannot be held liable for any damage or injury resulting from improper, unsafe, or negligent use of our products, to the extent permitted by law.

Safe use of candles
Burning candles always involves safety risks. Therefore, observe the following guidelines:

·        Never leave a burning candle unattended.

·        Always place candles on a heat-resistant, stable surface.

·        Keep candles away from flammable materials, drafts, pets, and children.

·        Do not burn candles for more than 3–4 hours at a time.

·        Trim the wick to approximately 0.5cm before each use.

·        Never move a burning candle and allow melted wax to cool completely first.

·        Extinguish candles carefully and preferably use a candle snuffer.

Safe use of wax melts
Wax melts are intended for use in a suitable wax burner.

·        Only use wax melts in a suitable wax burner.

·        Do not add water or other substances to the wax.

·        Never leave a burner unattended while in use.

·        Place the burner on a heat-resistant surface.

·        Allow melted wax to cool completely before removing.

Safe use of wax burners
Our wax burners should be used safely and according to instructions.

·        Use wax burners only with suitable (tea light) candles or, if applicable, an electric model.

·        Only use tea lights with a maximum burning time of 4 hours, unless otherwise stated.

·        Ensure adequate ventilation during use.

·        Do not touch the burner during or immediately after use: it may become very hot.

·        Check the burner regularly for damage and do not use it if it is cracked or broken.

Allergies & sensitivities
Our products contain fragrances. If you have a known allergy or sensitivity, please test the product carefully first or consult a doctor if in doubt.

Scented Wonderland is not liable for allergic reactions or other complaints arising from the use of our products.

Handmade products
Because our products are handmade, slight variations in color, shape, and finish may occur. This does not affect the safety or quality of the product.

Liability
The use of our products is entirely at your own risk.
Scented Wonderland is not liable for any direct or indirect damage, injury, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products, unless there is intent or gross negligence.

This disclaimer does not affect any statutory consumer rights.
