It's so nice that you're here. I'm Marieke, and behind every Scented Wonderland candle and wax melt is... just me.
Scented Wonderland was born from my love of scent, ambiance, and the longing for a place that truly feels like home. Not from a business plan, but from a feeling. The need for peace, creativity, and meaning—and the desire to share that.
Where everything comes together
Like everyone else, I'm a multifaceted person. Organized and structured, with an eye for detail. But also playful and creative, with a love of color, imagination, and experimentation—making things with my hands and losing myself in ideas.
I love nature and small, wondrous moments, but also mystery and stories that make your heart beat faster. In Scented Wonderland, all these aspects can coexist. Each product reflects a piece of it – an invitation to discover your own moments of wonder.
The power of scent
Scent can transform a space—and a feeling too. It helps slow down, remember, and ground.
Lighting a candle or melting a wax melt is a small ritual for me. A moment to pause and let the space around me feel different. I want to share that feeling.
This is how the idea for a wonderland was born: a personal space, shaped by scent, atmosphere, and imagination. Different for everyone—but always personal. And that's precisely the intention.
Made with care
I handcraft all the candles and wax melts you'll find at Scented Wonderland. I deliberately work in small batches because I believe it's important that each product receives the utmost attention. Not just in its appearance, but also in its feel and burn quality. From the organic wax and fragrance combinations to the pouring, curing, and packaging.
I consciously choose reusable glass containers and recyclable packaging, because sustainability is not a trend for me, but a natural part of how I want to do business.

The limited-edition collections showcase my playful and creative side. Seasonal, colorful, and a touch whimsical—just that extra touch of wonder to brighten up your space.
